Introducing Nero Asibelua Foundation Back To School Project

The Nero Asibelua Foundation (NAF) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to making a meaningful improvement to the lives of West Africans, it has targeted 5 key areas in which it seeks to execute her mandate for change
and development, they are; Human Rights & Social Justice Advocacy, Resource Policy Reform, Health, Safety & Environmental Initiatives, Education & Literacy Programs and the Protection of Arts & Culture.

As a catalyst for development, NAF believes that education is a key contributor to reducing inequality and scaling down poverty; and full access to quality education at all levels is an essential condition for accelerating progress towards the achievement of other sustainable development goals. In other words, sustainable development begins with education. For the goals to be reached, everyone needs to do their part: governments, the private sector, civil society and the people.

NAF’s vision and polity of love is to always support the dream of an ordinary child by helping provide educational, shelter and financial support for students to realize that the society still cares about their witty mind from any part of the country they are. NAF, through her BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT stands to meet the educational needs of the pupils and students in her own little way, this time by sharing free school bags to needy school students across the country. This project was launched in Lagos, Nigeria in September, 2015 upon resumption of these students for the 2015/2016 Academic session.

On the BACK TO SCHOOL Project, the Chairman/Founder of the Foundation, Nero Asibelua has this to say:

“This is the time for sacrifice and not sycophancy as we can as a people contribute our own quota towards national growth with genuine sincerity of purpose and clarity of intention. Nigeria as its stands today is experiencing a new dawn and we as a people must not frustrate the mantra for change as it is a rare chance and sacrifice on the part of Mr. President.
Therefore as our contribution to create a new crop of leaders we have launched this going back to school project as every child deserves assistance.”

The Chairman has stated the commitment of the Foundation to launch and execute some slew of other initiatives around Capacity Building, ICT Literacy, Mentoring, Skill Acquisition, financial support and feeding for less privilege, Scholarships and many others going forward, in the course of the year and into the year 2016.
